For us usability is always more important than technology.

Redesign or an entirely new site

Sometimes we develop the concept for a site and build it from scratch. Other times we redesign websites and structure the content in cooperation with the customer’s web bureau. We work according to a structured process in which we analyze the target groups and their needs – and only then decide on a suitable technical solution.

Experience with several publishing systems

We have experience with developing websites with several different systems. We are partners with EPiServer and Tibet Server, and also work with different open-source systems like Drupal and WordPress. Using the expertise of selected technical partners, we ensure the quality of both the development work and the website’s ongoing operations.

Piratförlaget invested in good reading for book lovers

Piratförlaget could have made a standard site – a few boring advertisements for new books and links to booksellers. Together with Tidningskompaniet, however, the publishing house chose a more entertaining way to go. Every day the site is updated with exciting content: author interviews, columns, writing tips, and anything else book lovers might be interested in. Tidningskompaniet created the concept and design, while the technical part of the site development was handled by Tibet Server. Award-winning magazine site for Volvo Trucks

Volvo Trucks’ magazine-style site is an example of a website we have developed from scratch with the EPiServer publishing tool. The site won second place in the category of “Digital editorial communication” in the 2009 Guldbladet custom publishing awards. The site is available in over 30 language versions and contains hundreds of articles, as well as films and flash animation. Read more about the project here. Manager’s site connects Posten in Sweden and Denmark

In 2009 Posten (the Swedish post office) merged with Post Danmark. In conjunction with the merger the company launched the Manager’s Site, an internal site directed at managers. The site ensures that all managers in all parts of the organization receive the right information regarding the merger. The site was developed with EPiServer, and Tidningskompaniet is solely responsible for its operation.

What about website content?

Tidningskompaniet is passionate about relevant content for both the intranet and external websites. We regularly produce texts, photos and online video for our customers’ digital channels. We also often take on the role of managing editor. This means that we not only produce the content, we are also responsible for planning the content for our customers.
