Content Partner – a service for continuously producing digital content

The shift from technology to content has only just begun in the online world. More and more companies are realizing the importance of content and are getting external help to continuously create content for their intranet pages and external websites. With the Content Partner service we offer a way to help our customers with digital content. This is how we do it:

  1. We hold planning meetings on a regular basis – for example every week, month or quarter depending on the level of ambition. After every meeting a list is prepared of the content that will be produced until the next meeting. The content is often a mix of articles, photos and online video.
  2. We produce and publish the content within the limits of a previously agreed upon budget.
  3. We analyze visitor statistics and track clicks in order to learn what content works best for the target group.
  4. The process starts again with a new meeting where the content is planned for the next period.
As part of the service we are prepared to handle urgent requests and produce content quickly.

Sometimes companies need extra help with their websites, for longer or shorter periods, often to create content for the intranet. In such cases, Tidningskompaniet can arrange for a web editor to be part of the customer’s team. It is important to us that our web editors are both good writers and understand what is required when producing texts for the Intranet. They must also have experience with publishing tools and basic photo editing.

Companies have traditionally focused all of their resources on their own websites. With the growth of new digital media, however, the map has been redrawn. Today companies know that they must be where their target group is. When we help our customers produce and publish digital media, it is therefore a given that online video clips are posted both on the company website and on Youtube. When a new managing director takes office, for example, we produce two versions of the article – one for the company’s own website and one for Wikipedia. We also frequently use Facebook, Twitter, and niche blogs to drive traffic to the content we create – and to find ideas for new content.

Search engine optimization is often discussed from a technical perspective. It is about building the site in the right way: correctly formatting the headings, avoiding embedding texts in photos, and so on. All of this is important, no doubt about it. But in order to end up in the top search results you also have to continuously update your site with relevant content based on the search words your company wants to own. For this your headings need to be correctly formulated, not just correctly formatted. As we see it, visitors and Google want the same thing: websites that are frequently updated with relevant content, and with headings that clearly show what the text is about. This is what we want to help our customers to succeed with.

Moving images are becoming increasingly important online. Which is why we are noticing a growing interest in online video produced in a journalistic style. We produce video clips for our customers for both their intranet an external websites. We report on events and news, but we also produce more timeless articles and interviews. We focus on content. But that doesn’t stop us from also developing websites. Sometimes we make entirely new websites together with our technical partners. Other times we redesign websites and structure the content in cooperation with the customer’s web bureau. Since we have a lot of experience producing content for websites, we always keep in mind what will happen after the launch. The level of ambition when developing the concept for the site must match the resources that will be available later for continuously updating the site.
